Painted in 1350, ‘The Crucifixion’ seems to feature ufos. The painting depicts a human in a UFO looking over his shoulder at another UFO with another occupant as if the other UFO was in pursuit – as both fly across the sky in what are clearly spaceships. The leading craft is decorated with two twinkling stars, one reminiscent of national insignia on modern aircraft. This painting hangs above the altar at the Visoki Decani Monastery in Kosovo, Yugoslavia.
